Summer Sewing Swap

This is just a short and sweet post to say a massive thank you to Helen, of Helen Made, for her lovely Summer Sewing Swap parcel! And to share the loveliness with you all.

Kestrel Makes & Finds came up with the wonderful idea and I'm soo glad I took part. It was such a joy to choose fabrics for someone else and feel a bigger part of the sewing community. I hope there are more of these in the future.

Helen sent me this super cute cotton and buttons that I'll need to have a good think about how I'll use. But she also included 4 amazing vintage patterns! I love vintage patterns and I love these 4! They're so me and I can't wait to start working with them and doing some final London town fabric shopping to make them up in.

I'll finish with an apology that there are no links in this post, I'm tired and can't be bothered playing with HTML on my iPad to make it work! I'll aim to edit it at the weekend and have everything all nice and proper. This also extends to the instagram pics, although I have fallen in love with this app. Search @hazel_b_obv to follow me!

I'll do a better update at the weekend, can you believe today marks 4 weeks until I go home?! That's a pretty scary thought!
