(Google)Reader Round-up #11

It's been a busy few weeks on the blogosphere, I've been really enjoying all the year in sewing review posts and seeing what everyone has achieved in the past year.  I posted my own review at the beginning of the week and still can't quite believe that I made just over 30 items.

I'm hoping that in 2013 I will improve my skills further and continue making at a similar rate.  I'm also hoping to make things to sell this year as I'm not sure I have much more room in my own wardrobe for things for myself.

In between the review posts, there have been a few bits and pieces that have caught my eye:

1. Having got an overlocker for my joint birthday/Christmas gift, I'm keen to learn the best techniques and tips to use it. Sarai at the Coletterie shows us how to use an overlocker to construct french seams.
2. Sunni, at A Fashionable Stitch, suggests an awesome way to store WIPs.
3. Some sale shopping tips from Sian at Forever Fabulous in Bows.
4. Also from the Coletterie is this neat idea to help spring clean your wardrobe by completing a wardrobe inventory.

I suppose now that the festive period is over its back to normality.  I'm fortunate that I had holidays left at work and have 9 days off starting tomorrow.  I'm looking forward to getting some serious sewing done and taking a couple of days to relax before uni goes back w/c 14th.  I'm excited to see what happens in this online sewing community this year and hope to contribute to it a little more!
