(Google) Reader Round-up #23

I am seriously buzzing right now, like seriously.  I just made another pair of Anita Ponti Pants and I adore them!  If I thought I loved my leggings, I never realised the full potential of this pattern (go on, scroll down to the instagram pics and you'll see them!!)

Anyway, now that I've gotten that excitement out of my system, how are y'all, what have you been making this week?  I feel like I've been on a total roll, made some stuff up for my mum and another Laurel for me and I just don't want to stop making stuff!  But I really need to hit my uni books this week and get my CAD project done so summer can arrive and I can spend more time making things for me!!

Again this week I didn't instagram all that much;

 1. My NYC Laurel  2. Bedtime Reading
3. Laurel version 2  4. TROUSERS!!

But I do have more links :)

1. Karen released an E-Book on bound button holes, a bargain at £2!
2. Love this variation on the Banksia top :)
3. Gertie shares how she cuts slippery fabrics
5. Are you signing up to Me Made May 2013?  I have and can't wait

That's all for now.  I'm off to happy dance in my new trousers, cause I'm totally in love with them!

  1. I love your trousers ,that fabric looks gorgeous - both the colours and the print! What kind of fabric did you use for this pair, was it a ponte knit? I've got this pattern top of my list for purchase come next pay day.

    1. Thanks Kathryn! I'm planning a full post on them for this week. I was playing about with the pattern and made it up in a poly stretch for my mum and it worked fine, I was concerned that it might only work in ponte knits but clearly not! These are made from a 97% Cotton, 3% Elsatane digital print from my work. I'd definitely recommend the pattern as it's really easy to make up, it only took me an hour and a half! And they're super comfy! Be sure to link me to yours when you get them done! :)

  2. Love your pants! Still haven't sewn mine up, OR finished my Laurel (got distracted by my Mood project for this month, plus have had a wild & crazy couple of weeks), but your blog really inspires me to get them done!

    1. Thanks for your awesome comment Colette! So glad you like my version, I've still not had a chance to do a proper post on them yet and I've since made another two pairs for my mum as well! I'm keeping an eye out in work for some more fabrics to make them up with, they're the perfect summer trouser :)
