One Month

I'm going to start with an anti-climax, this ain't gonna be a very interesting post!  But it has been over a month since my last and it feels a little over-due.  So what's been happening?  Well I handed in my dissertation and got a bit of my life back.  Next Tuesday I have my last assessment ever!!  And then I'm freeeeeee (well from uni any way)!  So after that point expect me to be back to a more regular posting schedule!

You might know that this week is selfish sewing week?  Well I'm super excited to be taking part and I'm hoping my post will go live sometime on Saturday (said presentation work pending) so look out for that.  In the mean time, head on over to Rachael's blog to check out the full week's posts and lovely bloggers.

Also, a while back, I entered a plus size pattern pyramid over on Nessa's blog and I won!  Yay for me!  Nessa I am so sorry I never mailed you to say I got your parcel but I did and with everything else going on I'm yet to open it.  But I shall change that soon and be adding my patterns after taking those I fancy.

You'll be pleased to know that I've still been sewing away quite the thing.  Lots and lots to share so eventually I'll get round to everything.  I'm about to embark on my biggest project - my grad ball gown!  I've got my fabric and pattern but I'm giving nothing else away until June 28th!  And I've been lusting over the new simplicity patterns that I've seen online but aren't yet available in the UK yet (and I even phoned Simplicity from work to find out when they'd get here!) and have decided that I NEED this pattern now to make for my holidays!

I've been endeavoring to keep up with the blogosphere, but have been pretty rubbish at it, so what's been happenin' y'all?!  I'll be back at the end of the week with a make hopefully!  So see ya back here then? :)

  4. Congrats on handing in your dissertation! Can't wait to see your ball gown. Have you heard about the Indie pattern month tour? 4 blogs hosting a week each with a different theme & lots of prizes! It sounds fun. Not sure I'll be joining in as hardly get any time to sew right now but I'll enjoy seeing what others make. Not long now till you finish Uni - yay!
